Blackburn Slow Education Network Event – 8TH JULY

 

BLACKBURN SLOW EDUCATION RESEARCH NETWORK INVITES YOU TO A CELEBRATION EVENT

 WEDNESDAY 8TH JULY 2015, 1PM – 5PM

(A welcome and introduction to the event will take place at 1.30pm and again at 3.45pm).

ST SILAS PRIMARY SCHOOL, ST SILAS ROAD, BLACKBURN, BB2 6JP.

 

 This event is the culmination of a year’s work with teachers from six schools in Blackburn. They came together to develop teacher-led research and project-based learning. The aim was to place depth, understanding and purpose at the heart of education.

 

This will be an opportunity to:

•   Find out more about teacher-led research and project-based learning.

•   Talk to the teachers and pupils involved about their projects and research.

•   Join the Slow Education Network and connect with other schools, teachers and education professionals who share a belief in the importance of learning from passion, experience and curiosity. You can read more on our website here.
