Children need to be educated to be problem solvers in all areas of the curriculum. They need to be given accessible tasks which everyone can work on, develop and deepen. They need to be encouraged to see and make connections both within and across disciplines. Dance, music, art should be seen as equally important as reading, writing, mathematics and the sciences. Everyone should have opportunities to play games such as dominoes, cards, dice as a natural part of learning social as well as logic and basic arithmetic My local primary school bus children to a local climbing wall and this helps develop all kind of skills.
